Ensure compliance and safety with electrical testing and inspection

Our EICR reports give you the peace of mind that your electrical installations are well-maintained and safe for continued use

ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION CONDITION REPORTS

Carried out by NAPIT-accredited electricians

As a business owner or landlord, your electrical installations and equipment must be kept in a safe, well-maintained condition at all times. For that reason, it’s of the utmost important that all your systems undergo periodic testing and inspection by an individual who is trained and certified to do so.

The report will detail any and all areas that require improvement, providing you with the steps you need to take to ensure compliance with the BS 7671 standard. Although you are under no obligation to have Heritage Electrical carry out the electrical work identified in the report, we will be more than happy to carry out the repairs, replacements and servicing required.

EICRs: how often?

Your EICR will be valid for 5 years. Some businesses will be required to have an inspection done more frequently.

BS 7671 standards

Once you have rectified the issues identified in the report, your property will meet the BS 7671 for the safety of electrical installations.

What’s involved?

Thorough visual inspection, analysis and testing of all electrical wiring, circuits and connections of your entire premises.

Who should have one?

Landlords and employers are responsible for the welfare of their tenants and employees, so an EICR is highly recommended. It’s also a sensible decision for homeowners, too.
