MAKE SURE YOUR ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
Is safe and in good condition
The Electricity at Work Regulations 1989, and the ‘Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment – 4th Edition’, state that all items of electrical equipment in your property that could pose a safety risk be kept in a safe condition. Portable appliance testing is an excellent way of ensuring this, hence the reason so many companies opt to have their appliances checked on a regular basis by a qualified electrician.
We’ll thoroughly check all your electrical items and detail their condition in a full report, which you will receive after the testing is complete.
Thorough reports
In our comprehensive report, we’ll let you know which items are safe and which must undergo a repair or replacement.
How often?
This depends on the equipment and the industry. Some items on construction sites need testing every 3 months. Office IT equipment may need testing every 48 months.
Regular reminders
Keeping track of when PAT is due might not be at the top of your list. We can provide timely reminders in keeping with your schedule.
